I am a native of Sulphur Springs, Texas where I graduated from Sulphur Springs High School, followed by a degree in Agriculture at Texas Tech University. After completing undergraduate school, I received a Veterinary Degree from Texas A&M University. I have been practicing in Sulphur Springs for over 40 years. I am blessed to be back in my home community which has allowed me to raise my family with Pam and our two beautiful daughters. I am presently on the Board of NETBIO Cattle Organization, Board of the Hopkins County Dairy Festival, Trustee of The Hopkins County Memorial Hospital, Administrative Board of Shannon Oaks Church, AVMA Member, TVMA Member, NETVMA treasure and Board of Texas Veterinary Medical Association. I was honored to be a part of the steering committee for the Texas Tech School of Veterinary Medicine. Over the years I have been in leadership roles for Young Famers of America, Chamber of Commerce, Professional Ag Workers, Rural-Urban Organizations, and many other small organizations and activities that have kept me busy and involved in our special community.
I am a 2013 graduate of Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine. I have a wonderful wife, Taylor, and three beautiful children. My wife and I are both originally from Winnsboro, Texas, however, I graduated from Yantis High School. I attended undergrad at Texas A&M - Commerce where I was a member of the nationally ranked livestock judging team. After undergrad, I worked on a master's degree at Stephen F. Austin State University, before being accepted into veterinary school. Being a veterinarian is a lifelong dream for me and the only thing I have wanted to do since I observed my first surgery while in elementary school. I enjoy facing new challenges every day and meeting new people around every corner. I am super excited to be at Broadway Veterinary Hospital, working with Dr. Black and the wonderful staff. I could not ask for a better and more caring group to join. I look forward to meeting everyone and joining the Broadway Vet Family!
I am thrilled to be back in my hometown of Sulphur Springs working and serving the community that raised me. Veterinary medicine has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. I completed my undergrad at Baylor University with a Bachelor's in 2018 and Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor's in 2019. Shortly after graduation I attended St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine, followed by clinical training at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. I cannot wait to meet all of my new furry friends and get involved with our special town.
I grew up in Ft. Worth, Texas where I met my wonderful husband, Kurt, in high school. He has supported me through school where I graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1990, cum laude. We are blessed to have two wonderful children; Rebecca and Karl. We moved to Sulphur Springs over 20 years ago because we loved the small town and the people here in this community. I feel so fortunate to be able to assist Dr. Black and his team at Broadway Veterinary Hospital. They have such empathy for animals and a genuine concern to provide the best care for them and their owners! In my spare time, I’m active at church and teach 3rd graders there.
I had been a long-time client of the clinic for over 30 years and the opportunity arose to work with the staff at Broadway Veterinary Hospital as a receptionist. It allows me to utilize my passion for pets and my love for client relations thus creating the perfect job for me. I handle everything from patient and client relations to medicine, and assist in day to day functions of the business. I have been happily married to Larry Jay Temples for 40 years, and have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.
I was raised in Sulphur Springs, Texas where I graduated from Sulphur Springs High School. I have always had a heart for all types animals, but during my high school years I worked for a local veterinary office. During that time I fell in love with being able to help animals during their times of need and decided that is what I wanted to do as a career. Shortly after graduating I became a Veterinary Technician and started working at Broadway Veterinary Hospital. I have been a part of this practice for almost 20 years now. My duties include assisting patients in the exam room during surgery, and managing all product ordering for the office. I have a wonderful husband, Phillip Huff, and a beautiful teenage daughter.

I am a Veterinary Technician at Broadway Veterinary Hospital, with over 20 years of experience in the veterinary field. I assist our amazing veterinarians with animals in the exam room and during surgical procedures. I also enjoy working in the laboratory doing diagnostics on animals along with dental because you can see immediate results. I have been married to my husband, Rodney Keller, for over 40 years, we have three children and four grandchildren.

I was born and raised in Sulphur Springs. After graduating high school, I attended Texas A&M University - Commerce where I graduated with a degree in animal science and a pre-veterinary concentration in 2023. My favorite thing about working at Broadway Vet is the family atmosphere. I could not ask for a better community and coworkers.
